Larimar is a rare semi precious gemstone found only in the Dominican Republic, often called the “gemstone of the sea.” Discovered by Miguel Méndez, it was named after his daughter Larissa and the Spanish word for sea, mar, giving us the name Larimar.

Known for its calming properties, Larimar is believed to ease stress and promote serenity. Its stunning ocean blue hues capture the spirit of Charleston’s laid back lifestyle, evoking coastlines, sunsets, and Carolina skies.
